HULL —

The 8th Nuvolari G-Jet Slot Car Enduro – Nuvolari 8 — is underway Saturday in a two-story garage built especially for that purpose..

Six teams of seasoned HO-scale slot car racers are vying against each other for eight hours at the two-story garage of one of their most dedicated members, John Stezelecki, at 8 Front St.

Spectators are encouraged to attend the event.

There is a high-banked, 6-lane Nuvolari course, modeled on the legendary 1/24^th slot car course at Elmsford Raceway, in Elmsford, N.Y.

Strategy-driven driver changes, pit stops under the green, as well as night racing (with headlights), will all be part of the action modeled after full-sized endurance racing at Le Mans, Daytona, and Sebring.
